I’m a daughter who found herself in the middle of a complex system and wished there were a clearer, more compassionate roadmap.

As the youngest of three, I never expected to become the primary navigator and advocate for my aging mom while balancing motherhood, marriage, work, and everyday life. When my mom’s husband passed away in early 2024, everything changed.

What followed was a crash course in caregiving, medical decisions, housing, finances, family dynamics, and advocating for someone I love. I learned quickly that caring for an aging parent isn't just about caring for a parent—it's about navigating an entire system while trying to remain their daughter.

I kept asking, Why is this so hard to figure out? Why doesn't someone give families a roadmap?

That question became Parent Care Workshop.

Through my website and Instagram, I share practical information, resources, and lessons I wish I had when I began navigating my mom’s care—along with trusted information and insights from other families walking this road.

My hope is simple: to turn what I’ve learned into a clearer, more compassionate roadmap for the next family.

You don't have to know everything before you begin. You just have to take the next step.
