UTI Checklist/Signs

In older adults, a UTI can cause sudden confusion, agitation, weakness, or behavior changes that may be mistaken for dementia. If an older parent suddenly seems unlike themselves, don’t assume it’s dementia or aging, rapid mental changes should be medically evaluated right away.
